SilenZine is an editorial project inspired by the expressive power of silent cinema. The visual identity relies on monochrome photography, monumental typography and asymmetrical compositions to recreate the tension, scale and theatricality of the big screen.
Rather than treating type as a purely informational element, headlines become part of the composition, interacting with the imagery to establish hierarchy and movement across the spread. A restrained palette, consistent grid and carefully balanced white space ensure visual coherence throughout the publication, creating a system that feels both experimental and controlled.
